About the role
- Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable, including generating, reviewing, and distributing invoices
- Process and apply customer payments accurately and on a timely basis
- Conduct proactive collection activities on past-due accounts
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, billing errors, and customer disputes
- Prepare and analyze AR aging reports
- Reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger
- Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3-5+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on accounts receivable
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
