About the role

  • Acquisition of new clients
  • Identifying and approaching potential customers in target industries such as Telecommunications, Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, Healthcare, Biotech, etc.
  • Developing and implementing lead-generation strategies
  • Building and maintaining long-term business relationships with decision-makers (e.g., CTOs, CEOs, project managers) at companies with software development needs
  • Presenting the nearshore model and its specific benefits to clients
  • Advising clients on the best solutions for software development and integration
  • Determining clients’ specific requirements and challenges to develop tailored solutions
  • Supporting the preparation of project requirements and roadmaps
  • Preparing and negotiating contracts and proposals
  • Ensuring legal and financial compliance throughout the sales process
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Working closely with the project management team to ensure a smooth handover after contract signing
  • Providing ongoing support and consultation to clients during project delivery
  • Monitoring customer satisfaction and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Analyzing market trends, the competitive landscape, and potential new business opportunities
  • Regular reporting to management on sales activities, client feedback and business developments
  • Representing the company at industry trade shows, conferences and events
  • Networking with potential clients and partners to expand business

Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience selling IT or software solutions, preferably in nearshore, offshoring or outsourcing
  • Experience handling complex software development projects and advising companies on software solutions
  • Ideally, experience working with clients from the target industries listed above
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English; additional languages are a plus
  • Strong knowledge of software development and IT services
  • Solid understanding of business processes and customer needs
  • Ability to present technical concepts and solutions clearly and persuasively
  • High level of initiative, sense of responsibility and team orientation
