About the role
- Acquisition of new clients
- Identifying and approaching potential customers in target industries such as Telecommunications, Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, Healthcare, Biotech, etc.
- Developing and implementing lead-generation strategies
- Building and maintaining long-term business relationships with decision-makers (e.g., CTOs, CEOs, project managers) at companies with software development needs
- Presenting the nearshore model and its specific benefits to clients
- Advising clients on the best solutions for software development and integration
- Determining clients’ specific requirements and challenges to develop tailored solutions
- Supporting the preparation of project requirements and roadmaps
- Preparing and negotiating contracts and proposals
- Ensuring legal and financial compliance throughout the sales process
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Working closely with the project management team to ensure a smooth handover after contract signing
- Providing ongoing support and consultation to clients during project delivery
- Monitoring customer satisfaction and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Analyzing market trends, the competitive landscape, and potential new business opportunities
- Regular reporting to management on sales activities, client feedback and business developments
- Representing the company at industry trade shows, conferences and events
- Networking with potential clients and partners to expand business
Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience selling IT or software solutions, preferably in nearshore, offshoring or outsourcing
- Experience handling complex software development projects and advising companies on software solutions
- Ideally, experience working with clients from the target industries listed above
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English; additional languages are a plus
- Strong knowledge of software development and IT services
- Solid understanding of business processes and customer needs
- Ability to present technical concepts and solutions clearly and persuasively
- High level of initiative, sense of responsibility and team orientation
