About the role

  • Provide financial analysis and decision support to Technical Operations (TechOps) Leadership
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and track key financial metrics, including risks and opportunities, to monitor performance and enhance forecasting accuracy
  • Partner on special projects and strategic initiatives, as needed
  • Establish and lead process around financial deliverables, reviews, and updates
  • Establish a monthly review process for project and PO status to ensure seamless integration into forecasting cycles
  • Collaborate with TechOps team to provide licensing partners quarterly cross-charges and semiannual cross charge forecasts
  • Partner with Controller team to develop annual and long-range standard cost estimates
  • Recommend, develop, and implement financial practices and policies to ensure compliance
  • Review TechOps accrual estimates, including calculations and documentation, to ensure accuracy
  • Partner with the Controller and external auditors to support financial reviews and audits

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Finance or Accounting; CPA or MBA strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of FP&A business partnering experience with 5+ years in biopharmaceutical industry
  • Strong experience with accrual accounting
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience developing standard cost (preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to build cross-functional relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
