About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain a sales pipeline through outreach, networking, industry events, and referrals
- Convert inbound opportunities while also creating new ones through targeted outreach, relationships, referrals, events, and research.
- Own the story and content of pitch materials, working with design and cross-functional teams (strategy, planning, creative, insights etc.) to bring them to life.
- Lead proposals and commercial negotiations in partnership with VP of New Business, agency leadership, finance, and legal.
- Maintain an accurate Salesforce pipeline, clear forecasts, and disciplined follow-through.
- Stay current on the audio, podcast, media, and competitive landscape.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms that meet revenue targets and align with agency guidelines
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the sales cycle and beyond.

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7-10+ relevant business development or sales experience in audio, podcasting, radio, streaming, creator media, or a closely related field
- Deep knowledge of the audio and podcast advertising ecosystem
- A strong record of originating and closing meaningful, consultative new business
- The ability to convert inbound demand and create opportunities from scratch
- Persistence, confidence, resourcefulness, and strong follow-through
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, and executive communication skills
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to lead cross-functional pitch teams
- A relevant network of senior marketers, agency leaders, media executives, and industry partners
- Strong CRM, pipeline-management, and forecasting discipline.
