About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Acxiom's centralized commercial authority function
- Establish and enforce robust commercial governance frameworks
- Manage commercial decision-making and prevent revenue leakage
- Ensure all commercial activities align with Acxiom's revenue and strategic objectives
- Build and lead a high-performing team
- Design, develop, and implement commercial models and pricing frameworks
- Coordinate with Legal and Compliance teams for validation of commercial terms
- Work proactively with Finance leadership to establish clear protocols
- Identify and prevent revenue leakage across commercial channels
- Conduct informational sessions to educate stakeholders on governance frameworks
- Develop commercial governance best practices for international markets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 10 years of commercial management, deal management, or commercial strategy experience
- Proven experience building and leading cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of commercial models, pricing strategies, and revenue recognition
- Expert commercial judgment with ability to challenge assumptions
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills at executive level
- Understanding of legal, compliance, and risk management considerations in commercial decisions
- Experience in data, technology, or professional services industries preferred
- Experience establishing or scaling governance frameworks across organizations preferred
- Multi-market or international commercial management experience preferred
