About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the District Manager by directing and coordinating Air Culinaire activities and operational duties in the market
- Manage team work quality, operational standards, product specifications, accuracy, training, and culinary expertise
- Direct kitchen and catering operations and supervise and train staff
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, HACCP, food safety, health and safety regulations, and corporate guidelines
- Use Shipday for catering order logistics and deliveries, including delivery photos and recipient names
- Support the District Manager and Senior Director of Operations and Sales team through communication, reporting, collaboration, and procedure adherence
- Drive market performance, efficiency standards, P&L performance, and scheduled profitability
- Execute local sales and promotional efforts, client engagement, relationship-building, customer service, and client loyalty initiatives
- Coordinate culinary events, regional menus, staff training, development, and payroll records
- Support payroll, HR, IT, Finance, scheduling, performance reviews, hiring, discipline, and related documentation
- Support financial performance, inventory reporting, local purchasing, and receiving
- Manage cleaning, maintenance, repairs, contracts, and services for company assets
- Investigate and resolve food- and service-related complaints and process events
- Implement and enforce corporate policies, sales and marketing initiatives, client relationships, and the Standard Operating Procedure
- Submit timesheets, checklists, operational performance reports, weekly Coupa expense reports, and vehicle maintenance audits
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience supporting operational directives involving kitchen accuracy, office administration, personnel, local clients, facilities, capital assets, government compliance, and corporate requirements
- Experience supporting catering operations and supervising and training staff
- Ability to oversee preparation and service quality and accuracy for food and concierge services
- Ability to speak and understand Spanish is a strong advantage and may be a deciding factor
- Compliance with state labor laws regarding meal and rest breaks and required documentation
- Experience supporting culinary event execution, menu coordination, staff training and development, and payroll approval
- Experience with payroll/labor processing, scheduling, performance reviews, training, hiring, discipline, and related paperwork
- Knowledge of kitchen financial performance, quality standards, corporate guidelines, and budgets
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, health and safety regulations, premium quality, customer communication, relations, satisfaction, and timely delivery
- Experience with sales promotions, client relationship visits, inventory reporting, purchasing, and receiving policies
- Experience managing cleaning and maintenance of company assets and arranging repairs, contracts, and services
- Experience investigating and resolving food- and service-related complaints
- Ability to communicate, implement, and enforce corporate policies and procedures
- Ability to use and enforce Air Culinaire's Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Ability to report timesheets, operations checklists, operational performance reports, and expense reports through Coupa
- Ability to manage and audit monthly vehicle maintenance logs
- Must complete pre-employment criminal background check, drug test, MVR if applicable, and E-Verify
