About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform visual and non-destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure-retaining equipment according to API and ASME standards
Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition
Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, and alteration of plant equipment
Provide technical input on welding and metallurgical issues
Provide technical guidance on non-destructive examination techniques and procedures
Comply with Acuren and client safe work practices
Participate in site safety initiatives
Travel as needed for customer turnaround, outage, and project assignments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570
5–10 years’ experience or 2+ years on-site experience
In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards
Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers
Additional API 653 or CWI certification is a plus
Willingness to travel if needed
