About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform visual and non-destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure-retaining equipment according to API and ASME standards
  • Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition
  • Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, and alteration of plant equipment
  • Provide technical input on welding and metallurgical issues
  • Provide technical guidance on non-destructive examination techniques and procedures
  • Comply with Acuren and client safe work practices
  • Participate in site safety initiatives
  • Travel as needed for customer turnaround, outage, and project assignments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570
  • 5–10 years’ experience or 2+ years on-site experience
  • In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards
  • Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers
  • Additional API 653 or CWI certification is a plus
  • Willingness to travel if needed
