About the role
- Build and own the company's alliances strategy focused on enterprise ecosystem players.
- Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships to expand enterprise reach and value proposition.
- Build executive-level relationships and act as senior partner point of contact.
- Establish joint business objectives, GTM motions, and revenue targets with partners.
- Carry an overlay ARR quota tied to sourced and influenced revenue from partner channels.
- Join enterprise sales cycles alongside AEs to ensure alignment, deal acceleration, and increased win rates.
- Develop joint account planning, co-selling, and co-marketing programs with strategic partners.
- Partner with Sales Ops/RevOps to design KPIs, track sourced/influenced pipeline, and report on ROI.
- Share competitive insights and market intelligence into Sales, Marketing, and Product.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success; represent company at partner events and industry conferences.
- Build and scale a partnerships function from the ground up with sales rigor, frameworks, and KPIs.
Requirements
- 12+ years in B2B SaaS.
- At least 5 years of enterprise sales leadership (e.g., RVP, VP Sales, Head of Enterprise Sales).
- Experience in alliances, partnerships, or business development.
- Former SaaS sales leader who has carried a quota and closed seven-figure deals.
- Proven ability to source, close, and influence multi-million-dollar ARR.
- Deep familiarity with enterprise platforms (Salesforce, Snowflake, AWS).
- Experience engaging global system integrators (Deloitte, Bain, Accenture).
- Comfortable leading enterprise sales teams and participating in complex SaaS sales cycles.
- Executive presence with C-level partners and internal leadership.
- Eligible work permit in the USA or Canada required.
