About the role
- Write well-designed and testable code.
- Design and implement scalable software systems.
- Collaborate to design, implement, and maintain new features.
- Work with our project management team to identify, analyze, and fix bugs.
- Work with our product management team to develop solutions that allow our customers to think Smarter, Safer, and Greener about their environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of programming experience in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Strong proficiency with microservice and event-driven architecture
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience developing applications in a cloud environment using Infrastructure as Code (AWS preferred)
- Experience with React (or equivalent framework), CI/CD pipelines & concepts, Test Driven Development (TDD), and writing unit tests
- Experience with development tools like Node.js, Yarn, git, Figma, etc.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills
- Ability to learn on the job and explore modern technologies with little supervision
- Experience with Agile Methodologies such as Scrum.
