About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary finance business partner for the Matamoros manufacturing facility
  • Provide financial guidance, operational insights, and performance analysis
  • Lead the monthly financial close process, including account reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with detailed performance analysis
  • Develop, analyze, and report operational and financial KPIs
  • Support budgeting activities and participate in operational meetings
  • Drive continuous improvement in plant financial performance
  • Build and maintain financial models and reports using Excel and ERP systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent required
  • MBA or CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of accounting/finance experience
  • 3+ years of finance experience within a manufacturing or maquiladora environment preferred
  • Cost Accounting experience required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (financial modeling required)
  • ERP systems and financial reporting tools
  • Financial statement preparation and analysis
  • KPI development and reporting
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance leaders
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • English proficiency (80%+ written and verbal)
