About the role

  • Lead the definition and delivery of core operational capabilities: monitoring & management, device lifecycle management, and mass deployment features for field devices/systems
  • Own the operational roadmap and quarterly planning for monitoring & management, device lifecycle, and mass deployment to field devices/systems
  • Run discovery (interviews, betas/PACs, usability reviews)
  • Drive backlog management & grooming (intake, triage, sizing, sequencing)
  • Author PRDs/SRDs, user stories, UX briefs, acceptance tests, and release notes
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, remove blockers, and collaborate across time zones
  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing Managers and Sales to enhance cross-functional engagement with Q-SYS Reflect Product Management

Requirements

  • BA/BS preferred
  • 3+ yrs of experience in product owner or product management role for a Cloud based platform or SaaS products
  • Certification in Agile or Scrum methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO))
  • AV industry technical certifications are beneficial
  • Experience supporting or managing cloud platforms, with familiarity in areas like cloud infrastructure, subscription services, or RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management)
  • Proven track record of working in Agile environments, with a strong understanding of backlog management, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration in product development cycles
  • Deep understanding of cloud platform products and subscription models, particularly around RMM and IoT
  • Strong expertise in backlog management and ability to translate strategic priorities into actionable product roadmaps, epics, and stories
  • Highly independent and self-directed
  • Open to travel if/as required (including international travel)
