Distribution Processor
AcuityShipping & Receiving Associate responsible for accurate packaging and processing shipments. Ensuring efficient warehouse operations at Acuity by handling daily shipping tasks and maintaining standards.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Accurately preparing, packaging, and processing outbound shipments and inbound materials
- Scanning products into the system
- Processing pallets and boxes
- Weighing and labeling items
- Assembling shipments according to company standards
- Breaking down inbound pallets, verifying counts, and updating the system to resolve discrepancies
- Wrapping pallets, applying proper labels and corner boards
- Moving finished goods to the correct dock doors
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, ensuring 5S is followed
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to follow all Safety, Health and Environmental guidelines, policies, rules and training
- Basic math/reading comprehension aptitude
- The ability to read and interpret a manifest, packing list and complex shipping codes
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
