About the role
- Architect and design integrated BMS and controls automation solutions.
- Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, sustainable, and capable of delivering desired outcomes.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive architecture blueprints that integrate 1st party ecosystem products.
- Provide insights into system architecture, networking, security, and interoperability.
- Earn trusted advisor status by collaborating with clients to understand requirements.
- Partner with system integrators and relevant technology vendors to support implementations.
- Ensure proposed integrated solutions adhere to industry standards.
- Work with sales, product management, and technical support teams to develop proposals.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in solutions architecture, system integration, or engineering within building automation, IoT, or smart infrastructure sectors.
- Proven expertise in BMS platforms (e.g., Distech, Johnson Controls, Niagara, Schneider Electric).
- Applied understanding of IT infrastructure networking for BMS integration.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and edge computing.
- Hands-on experience with protocols like BACnet, Modbus, KNX, Zigbee, EnOcean, LoRaWAN, MQTT.
- Familiarity with data analytics, AI-driven automation, and digital twin technologies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferable Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
