About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and implement robust DevOps practices using Azure technologies.
Collaborate with an experienced team of software and firmware engineers to support our Q-SYS platform.
Assist in development of automated build and test infrastructure, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability.
Improve and streamline development and deployment workflows for software Dev and SQA teams.
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and automation.
Collaborate with development teams for the integration of new features and releases.
Develop and maintain documentation for deployment processes and procedures.
Make decisions on releasing software to the public and coordinate with the broader release team.

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
Excellent scripting skills in Groovy, JavaScript, Python and Linux shell scripts
Automation-focused DevOps perspective
Background in Linux software development workflow and tools
Background in Linux administration and application deployment
Strong background in Azure cloud platform
Excellent knowledge in Azure DevOps
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and Helm to manage Kubernetes
Experience with IaC tool – Bicep/Terraform (Bicep preferred)
Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef
Experience in SCM tools like GitHub, Bitbucket or any git-based tools
Experience in integration and implementation of security tools in pipelines for SAST, SCA, and DAST is preferred
Experience in Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, or other monitoring/logging tools
Experience with continuous integration and deployment of a microservice-based enterprise cloud application.
