About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead development of controller and display platforms.
Build and mentor a high-performing hardware engineering team.
Ensure successful development of new products from concept through production introduction.
Manage progress, risks, schedules, and deliverables.
Oversee hardware/firmware testing and apply APQP methodologies.
Communicate development status and risk mitigation plans to senior leadership.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in electronic or computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
5+ years in hardware engineering leadership/management and 5+ years developing complex electronic devices.
Embedded systems, MCU/MPU architectures, displays, switch-mode power supplies.
Full mastery of the development lifecycle (design reviews, EVT/DVT/PVT).
Human-centered leadership, excellent verbal and written communication, strong analytical skills, and ability to manage shifting priorities.
Knowledge of HVAC and automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus).
Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
