About the role

Serve as product subject matter expert and technical support for Sales Team
Support System Integrators and End-User customers with adoption of BAS technology
Lead New Product Introductions and provide supplemental product training
Host tech-focused sessions, webinars, lunch n learns, and product demonstrations
Support new customer onboardings and projects adopting new technology
Attend industry trade shows and represent the company
Collaborate with engineering and product teams on product capabilities and limitations
Work directly with System Integrators, End User Customers, and Regional Sales Managers and manage own schedule

Application engineering and/or programming background in BAS controls
Exceptional knowledge and understanding of the Tridium Niagara Framework (EC-Net/Distech)
Ability to take a station from scratch to a complete automation system
Solid fundamental understanding of HVAC systems
Ability to think logically and write programs for HVAC control
Ability to explain complicated topics in layman’s terms
Fundamental understanding of protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, Lonworks
Fundamental understanding of MSTP and IP networking
Experience with IoT integrations and APIs (preferred)
Ability to write code in Python, Java, or C++ (preferred)
Advanced understanding of IP networking (preferred)
Experience with Linux and/or Docker/Containers (preferred)
Willingness to travel (company-paid) and attend trade shows
