About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and optimize all aspects of facility operations, infrastructure, and workplace environment across a diverse portfolio of facilities globally
  • Develop/manage preventive maintenance programs, maintenance standards, asset lifecycle planning, and facility performance processes
  • Ensure reliability and operational effectiveness of all building systems (HVAC, electrical, production utilities, life safety)
  • Oversee workplace services and platforms to ensure facilities are safe, functional, and user-focused
  • Develop/maintain a multi-site facilities master plan aligned with business needs
  • Lead major projects in collaboration with IT and key stakeholders
  • Own CapEx/OpEx planning, forecasting, budgeting, business cases, and cost-optimization initiatives
  • Manage vendor strategy, service performance, and contracts
  • Drive cross-site alignment of maintenance, operational, and compliance practices across diverse facility portfolios
  • Act as primary point of contact for audits, insurance inspections, and compliance activities
  • Support ongoing compliance for CTPAT, SSE/EHS and regulatory requirements, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 environments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–10+ years in facilities, plant, or building operations (manufacturing preferred)
  • Experience managing mixed-use facilities (office + industrial)
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects and external contractors
  • Bilingual
  • Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, etc.)
  • Experience with CMMS and preventive maintenance programs
  • Experience with budgeting and cost control (CapEx / OpEx)
  • Familiarity with audit and compliance environments
  • Exposure to CTPAT or similar frameworks (asset)
  • Working knowledge of ISO environments (9001 / 14001)
