About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Applying Lean tools
- Identification and waste elimination in process
- Developing and implementing modified Standard Work
- Design and implementation of assembly jigs
- Helping with improvements to capacity model accuracy
- Work with team on autonomation projects to improve capacity
- Updating facility layouts – lighting layouts, camera layouts, changes due to equipment and cell moves
Requirements
What you’ll need- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant internship or project experience
- A minimum GPA of 3.0
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven problem-solving capabilities
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Experience leading teams or organizations
