About the role
- Coordinate all functions of a focused factory including New Product Introduction, +QDCI, In-sourcing, Customer Satisfaction, Employee Satisfaction, Employee Performance, and Supply Chain Performance
- Partner with Value Stream Leader to drive profitable growth for the Value Stream
- Support multiple-site Focus Factory or have site responsibility for a Focus Factory location
- Own safety and environmental issues within the focus factory
- Be accountable for quality across incoming supplier quality, internal manufacturing quality, and external customer satisfaction/finished goods
- Ensure 95% or greater delivery compliance and work to reduce lead times to customers
- Drive continuous improvement across the value stream to achieve month-over-month cost reduction
- Serve as ABS Leader: use and mentor others in ABS tools to support continuous improvement (Kanban, Standard Work, 5S, SMED, TPM)
- Constantly seek and implement innovative ways to improve processes
Requirements
- At least Bachelor Degree (Masters Degree is appreciated)
- Fully Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- 5 years in leadership roles in manufacturing
- Experience with ABS tools (e.g., Kanban, Standard Work, 5S, SMED, TPM) and ability to mentor others
- Emotional Intelligence: build trusting relationships and accurately perceive/interpret emotions and behaviors
- Strategic influence skills: develop and execute influence strategies to secure commitment and persuade stakeholders
- Talent management skills: design systems/processes to attract, develop, engage, and retain talent
- Leadership skills to energize the organization and inspire employees
