About the role

  • Lead and mentor a team of Trade Compliance Analysts in Mexico
  • Serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day inquiries from customs brokers
  • Review import and export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Conduct entry audits to verify HTS, Country of Origin, pricing and import data elements
  • Work with customs brokers to resolve discrepancies and request Post-Entry Corrections
  • Ensure compliance with global customs regulations and internal trade policies
  • Prepare and analyze trade compliance reports and KPIs for management review

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade Operations or Customs Compliance
  • Knowledge of global HTS classification concepts
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
  • English advanced
  • Understanding of Free Trade Agreements and preferential duty programs
  • Strong time management and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience with Prisma, IDM, PDM, or Oracle preferred
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate team members
