About the role
- Lead and mentor a team of Trade Compliance Analysts in Mexico
- Serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day inquiries from customs brokers
- Review import and export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Conduct entry audits to verify HTS, Country of Origin, pricing and import data elements
- Work with customs brokers to resolve discrepancies and request Post-Entry Corrections
- Ensure compliance with global customs regulations and internal trade policies
- Prepare and analyze trade compliance reports and KPIs for management review
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade Operations or Customs Compliance
- Knowledge of global HTS classification concepts
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
- English advanced
- Understanding of Free Trade Agreements and preferential duty programs
- Strong time management and ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience with Prisma, IDM, PDM, or Oracle preferred
- Ability to lead, coach, and motivate team members
