About the role

  • Design, deploy, scale, and maintain highly available architectures and hybrid cloud applications.
  • Collaborate closely with product development and customer success teams to improve availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Perform proactive service maintenance, problem diagnosis, and incident management.
  • Lead incident resolution efforts and postmortems.
  • Design and implement monitoring and automation tools.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell or Shell.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code systems like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Terraform.
  • A system operations mindset focused on maintaining uptime and addressing disruptions.
  • Active Directory/Domain management experience
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with other engineering teams.
  • Experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, C++, or Go.
  • Familiarity with monitoring systems such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Azure.
  • Experience with web networking, TLS, reverse proxies, and load balancing.
  • Extensive troubleshooting and security experience with Linux and Windows systems.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
