About the role
- Lead quality excellence initiatives to ensure products meet quality standards
- Implement and manage quality systems compliance to ISO standards
- Facilitate and maintain quality management systems and associated ISO programs
- Ensure regulatory compliance for electronics manufacturing
- Apply strategic planning tools to align quality vision with organizational strategy
- Implement quality practices in design to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality of materials and components
- Conduct internal and external quality audits, identifying potential sources of errors
- Monitor and report on key quality indicators, such as customer satisfaction and defect rates
- Use statistical techniques to analyze data, monitor processes and improve performance
- Develop and implement quality training programs for staff
- Coach on root cause analysis and problem solving
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management or a related field
- A certification of quality control from ASQ, such as CQE, CQA or CMQ/OE (strongly desired)
- At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance management or a similar role in electronics.
- Audio-Video and data network industry desired, but automotive, aerospace, medical or semiconductor industry experience considered transferable.
- A thorough knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools and standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 , Six Sigma, Lean, APQP, 8D or other structured problem solving, etc.
- Demonstrates deep expertise in Product Development Processes (PDP), with comprehensive knowledge of quality requirements and standards applicable to each stage of the product life cycle.
- Experience with Agile PLM, Jira, and Power BI is preferred, including the ability to leverage these tools for process management, issue tracking, and data-driven decision making.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex data.
