About the role
- Maintain project timelines and ensure deliverables are met according to schedule.
- Track project progress, monitor order management, and identify potential risks while proposing solutions.
- Monitor project budgets and ensure compliance with financial guidelines.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
- Facilitate effective communication between departments and teams, including manufacturers and customers.
- Organize and manage project files, data, and documentation to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support procurement activities, including ordering materials, tracking invoices, and ensuring accurate records.
- Understand and support manufacturing processes and their integration with project timelines and deliverables.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management or related fields (some experience preferred).
- Postsecondary education in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related disciplines) is required.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise between different teams and customers effectively.
- Technical proficiency and the ability to understand and use relevant software tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with procurement and order management is an advantage.
