About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Research, develop, validate, and maintain discipline-specific construction cost data, including items for new construction, renovation, maintenance, life cycle costs, and discipline-specific cost collections.
Work closely with a team of subject matter experts.
Coordinate efforts across the team to unify cost data.
Cost data development will reflect current and realistic material, equipment, and labor efforts.
Implement emerging trends and technology into current and future cost data.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10-years’ experience (or 15 years of experience without a degree).
Experience in construction cost estimating and field experience in one or more disciplines (including civil, plumbing, electrical and HVAC).
Candidates must have expert-level knowledge of practices, equipment and materials used in construction.
Candidates require good writing skills, good verbal communication skills, and attention to detail; and work well independently and collaboratively.
Able to work in Windows based and Cloud-based software programs.
