Manager

• The Registered Nurse Manager is responsible for providing managerial and clinical nursing oversight.
• May be assigned to deliver health care and treat patients in a variety of scenarios.
• Reports to the Site Program Manager and clinically works under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer or his/her designate.
• All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession.
• Document care delivered and follow up care required.
• Maintain HIPPA certification.
• Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes.
• Use knowledge and expertise to ensure that nursing processes and systems are followed appropriately according to policies and procedures.
• Work cohesively with the PM and CMO in the coordination of the healthcare delivery system.
• Communicate effectively with clients, peers, and employees at all levels within the organization.
• Coordinate, structure, implement, and guide the delivery of the nursing service program within the facility.
• Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility.
• Take and document all patient history and vital signs, assist with examinations and/or treatments.
• Conduct daily clinical rounds to all designated areas of responsibility to observe and review documentation.
• Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures, and patient assessments.
• Assist with orientation and training activities of clinical personnel.
• Maintain clear lines of communication throughout issue-resolution processes.
• Participate in all monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings as assigned and required in accordance with contract compliance.
