About the role
- Drive procurement activities for CDMO and Pharma Intermediates projects
- Leverage chemistry knowledge to source specialized raw materials
- Manage tail spend categories through supplier identification and performance management
- Optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and support negotiations
- Ensure effective supply chain execution for project needs
- Handle sourcing enquiries and support supplier qualification processes
- Monitor market trends and identify alternative sourcing opportunities
Requirements
- BSC/MSC (Chemistry)/ BTech/MTech in Chemical Engineering or Graduate/Post-Graduate degree in Chemistry from reputed institutions
- MBA in Supply Chain or Marketing is advantage but not mandatory
- 5 to 6 years in global sourcing & procurement role, with experience leading sourcing and logistics operations across Indian & global markets
- Pharma intermediate and/or Specialty Chemicals industry and products supply chain experience
- Strategic Sourcing knowledge and implementation experience
- Understanding of the best global practices in the industry supply chain
