About the role
- Manage and maintain our on-premise IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment (LAN/WAN), and end-user hardware (desktops, laptops).
- Administer and support a variety of cloud-based and on-premise software systems.
- Provide timely and effective technical support to all employees, troubleshooting issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Assist in the administration of AI tools, ensuring proper access, security, and usage policies.
- Support the company's compliance efforts, including providing documentation and evidence for SOC 2 audits.
- Manage user onboarding and offboarding processes, including account creation, access provisioning, and device configuration.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor system performance and security logs to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the reliability and security of our systems.
- Support IT infrastructure scaling initiatives to accommodate company growth
Requirements
- - 3 years of professional experience in an IT Administrator, System Administrator, or similar role.
- - Proven experience in managing IT systems for a software company or a business with a significant remote workforce.
- - Demonstrated experience with the following platforms and technologies:
- - Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- - Endpoint security platforms.
- - Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID administration.
- - Email Gateway security platforms.
- - Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- - Team communication and collaboration platforms.
- - Familiarity with SOC 2 audit requirements and processes.
- - Strong knowledge of LAN and WAN networking concepts, protocols, and security.
- - Experience with desktop hardware and software support (Windows and macOS).
- - Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- - Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- - Position is a hybrid role. Candidates must be able to work from our office in Austin, TX office at least 3 days a week.
