About the role

  • Management and development of the global physical security program
  • Direct oversight of physical security management staff
  • Management of the following programs, policies, and procedures: Guard force deployment and management, Physical security technology (access control, video surveillance, etc.), Incident response and investigation, Facility security, Event security, Executive protection, Liaison with law enforcement and other emergency responders as needed

Requirements

  • Must have 10 years’ experience in physical security, law enforcement, military, or any combination thereof, with at least 5 years of experience managing team strategy, physical security & safety professionals (non-security guard talent), and operational performance
  • Successful candidates will possess global corporate security experience
  • BA or BS highly desired. Degrees in fields such as criminal justice, homeland security, emergency management, business administration, or organizational leadership preferred
  • Must have demonstrated experience in physical security technology, event security, guard force management, executive protection, investigations, incident management and threat/vulnerability/risk assessments
  • Membership in professional networking groups such as ASIS, InfraGard, or other physical security groups is a plus
  • Must be able to develop and implement physical security best practices, standards, policies, and procedures
  • Must have effective management, communication, technical writing, presentation development, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in a variety of conventional system and application software, including task/project management, visitor management, and case management
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual and stressful circumstances
  • Strong customer service and service delivery.
  • Position requires demonstrated integrity, honesty, poise, tact, and diplomacy
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to plan, coordinate and manage staff and operations
  • Proven experience supporting senior executives with the ability to influence and demonstrate executive presence
  • Ability to build relationships, trusted advocate by leaders, employees, and the business
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically to support successful and timely implementation of projects and programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
