About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Strategic growth and sales responsibility for the DACH region: As a driver of change, you will actively shape the growth strategy for our ANI brands in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and — in close coordination with the Director Sales — be responsible for the strategic development of the sales organization.
  • Operational management of key sales channels: You will take operational responsibility for grocery (LEH), convenience, drugstore and specialty sports retail across the DACH region and steer the development of these channels in a targeted, results-oriented way.
  • Team leadership & development: You will lead a team of 6 Key Account Managers with clear goal orientation, lead-by-example behavior and an entrepreneurial mindset, creating a high-performing, motivating work environment.
  • Customer, distribution & brand development: You will develop sustainable customer and distribution strategies, identify market and revenue potential, close distribution gaps, win new channels and customers, and ensure strong activation of our brands at the point of sale.
  • Budget, forecast & performance responsibility: You will be responsible for budget and forecast planning for the markets and continuously monitor sales and revenue performance.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Qualification & practical sales experience: You have a degree in business administration or a comparable qualification and bring several years of relevant sales experience in food retail — ideally in grocery (LEH), convenience, snacking or sports nutrition.
  • Leadership skills: You have several years of experience leading sales teams, set clear targets, provide direction and know how to promote and consistently demand performance.
  • Sales expertise: You have gained cross-country, customer- and channel-spanning sales experience and are comfortable navigating complex sales structures within the DACH region.
  • Soft skills & commercial mindset: You act result-oriented, pragmatic and efficient, set clear priorities (80/20) and bring a strong commercial mindset at the interface between marketing and sales.
  • Language skills: You have negotiation-level German and English.
