Technician

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance in accordance with O&M schedules and manufacturer recommendations
• Perform inspections, testing and maintenance of solar PV systems, including modules, inverters, switchgear, combiner boxes, monitoring systems and associated electrical equipment across rooftop and ground-mounted installations
• Diagnose and rectify electrical, communications and monitoring faults to minimise downtime and maximise system performance
• Respond to reactive maintenance callouts and breakdowns as required
• Complete AC & DC electrical testing where applicable, including insulation resistance testing, thermal imaging and system performance checks
• Monitor system performance and investigate alarms or underperforming assets
• Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records and fault logs using digital reporting systems
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (QHSE) standards, Safe Electric requirements, RAMS and site procedures
• Liaise with the O&M Manager, operations team and equipment manufacturers to resolve technical issues
• Support commissioning activities, warranty claims, asset inspections and site surveys where required
• Manage site housekeeping, spare parts and customer communication while maintaining a professional standard at all times
