About the role

  • Lead a team of experts focused on efficient and controlled financial Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes
  • Realize significant improvements of the effectiveness, efficiency, and risk mitigation of main financial processes
  • Maintain close contact with managers and team leads within the finance discipline, program and project managers
  • Determine priority in change and transformation roadmap in S2P
  • Manage your team and ensure high motivation to realize ambitious targets
  • Ensure financial process model with high quality process documentation is in place
  • Coordinate the implementation of the Risk Control Framework relative to financial processes
  • Monitor process performance based on designed performance KPIs
  • Drive process redesign initiatives addressing the impact on systems and taking responsibility for business change.
  • Focus on source to pay process improvement for non-commercial purchasing using Ariba & VIM.

Requirements

  • Educated at master’s degree level and subsequently obtained an executive master’s degree, e.g. as a chartered accountant or chartered controller
  • Prior work experience includes at least 10 years in roles such as financial or business controller, auditor or consultant, process expert, project manager or in business facing technology positions delivering significant changes in large organizations
  • Operational or advisory role in the S2P domain, for example as an AP manager or S2P consultant in a finance transformation
  • Certifications in project management (Prince2 foundation level) and process improvement (Lean Six Sigma green belt level)
  • Knowledge of the SAP product suite supporting financial processes, of financial processes, and of audit, risk management and internal control practices
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written and comfortable engaging with and presenting to senior management.
