About the role
- Maintain accuracy of the general ledger; update chart of accounts as necessary.
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statement packages for completeness and accuracy.
- Lead preparation of annual budgets, ensuring accuracy of forecasts.
- Manage routine banking and investment transactions for timely execution and accuracy.
- Drive process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness in financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and US GAAP.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and proven ability to prepare and interpret financial statements.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage HOA board members, community managers, and team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Proficiency with CINC accounting software a plus.
- HOA experience is preferred.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
