About the role

  • Maintain accuracy of the general ledger; update chart of accounts as necessary.
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statement packages for completeness and accuracy.
  • Lead preparation of annual budgets, ensuring accuracy of forecasts.
  • Manage routine banking and investment transactions for timely execution and accuracy.
  • Drive process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness in financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and US GAAP.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and proven ability to prepare and interpret financial statements.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage HOA board members, community managers, and team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proficiency with CINC accounting software a plus.
  • HOA experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
