About the role

  • Analyze and apply current customs, tax and foreign trade legislation
  • Review and validate import documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, etc.)
  • Prepare, register and follow up Import Licenses (LI) with the competent government agencies
  • Prepare, file and monitor the Import Declaration (DI) in the Siscomex system
  • Monitor the progress of customs processing and clearance, addressing fiscal requirements, system parametrizations and releases
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and clients, answering questions
  • Track legal and regulatory updates to ensure compliance and mitigate customs risks
  • Maintain controls, reports and records for the processes under your responsibility.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of customs legislation
  • Experience registering Import Licenses (LI) and Import Declarations (DI)
  • Experience with the Siscomex system
