About the role
- Attract, build, manage, and develop a talented team of product leaders
- Understand Actian’s strategic and competitive position
- Establish shared vision across the company through consensus on strategies and priorities
- Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment
- Manage multiple products and priorities, scale teams, and ensure effective organization
- Partner with Go-to-Market teams to position value proposition and influence product messaging
Requirements
- 20+ years in the software industry, with at least 12 years in product management
- 8+ years in senior leadership roles (Director+) with direct ownership of product vision and strategy
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Highly technical with a demonstrated track record of complex product work
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred Qualifications include experience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, or marketplaces.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills/ability to collaborate across complex organizations.
- Familiarity with the data management landscape
