About the role

  • Contributing to the entire lifecycle of a project, from concept through to completion
  • Working closely with the wider Design Team, Production Team and fabrication partners
  • Articulating ideas and bringing them to life in diverse spaces
  • Reviewing and developing ideas with the Creative Director
  • Presenting ideas to clients and key stakeholders
  • Researching themes, sketching conceptual idea cards and finalising designs ready to hand over to the Production Team
  • Providing mentorship to more junior members of the project team

Requirements

  • A degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer
  • Hands-on experience working on environmental design projects (environmental branding, architecture, signage or similar)
  • Experience working with wayfinding systems would be advantageous
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to carry out tasks independently and efficiently
  • Great attention to detail
  • A keen interest in learning and mentoring junior studio members
  • Excellent organisational skills that support the rest of the team and align with studio standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for quality in every endeavour
  • Excellent team player attitude
  • Consistency in quality of work across projects and stages
  • Willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve
  • A hunger to constantly improve the studio’s output
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
