About the role
- Contributing to the entire lifecycle of a project, from concept through to completion
- Working closely with the wider Design Team, Production Team and fabrication partners
- Articulating ideas and bringing them to life in diverse spaces
- Reviewing and developing ideas with the Creative Director
- Presenting ideas to clients and key stakeholders
- Researching themes, sketching conceptual idea cards and finalising designs ready to hand over to the Production Team
- Providing mentorship to more junior members of the project team
Requirements
- A degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer
- Hands-on experience working on environmental design projects (environmental branding, architecture, signage or similar)
- Experience working with wayfinding systems would be advantageous
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Ability to carry out tasks independently and efficiently
- Great attention to detail
- A keen interest in learning and mentoring junior studio members
- Excellent organisational skills that support the rest of the team and align with studio standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A passion for quality in every endeavour
- Excellent team player attitude
- Consistency in quality of work across projects and stages
- Willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve
- A hunger to constantly improve the studio’s output
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
