About the role
- Monitor and troubleshoot network issues across Acronis data centers
- Triage events, escalate incidents, and ensure timely resolution
- Support other engineering teams with network-related issues
- Analyze and maintain configurations on Juniper and Arista network devices
- Plan and execute production network maintenance following Change Management processes
- Improve network performance through proactive optimization
- Develop automation using Python, Ansible, or SaltStack
- Maintain accurate documentation, diagrams, and operational knowledge
- Manage infrastructure inventory and equipment tracking using DCIM tools
- Use AI tools (VS Code + Copilot, Windsurf) daily for faster troubleshooting, config validation, and documentation
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Network Operations or Data Center environments
- Hands-on expertise with Juniper (EX/QFX, SRX, MX/PTX) or Arista platforms
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, EVPN,VXLAN
- Ability to design and manage complex ACLs and firewall policies
- Linux networking and security skills are a plus
- Experience with scripting, automation frameworks, and version control (Git)
- Strong English communication skills; multilingual is a plus
- Certifications are highly desirable: Juniper JNCA, JNCP,CCNA,CCNP or similar; Arista ACE Level 3+
