About the role

  • Ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of Acronis' core platform components
  • Designing and implementing effective testing strategies for system-level services and infrastructure
  • Collaborating closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to detect and resolve issues early in the development cycle
  • Developing test automation and supporting CI/CD pipelines to streamline quality assurance
  • Analyzing technical requirements and architectural designs with a focus on quality, performance, and security
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and quality standards

Requirements

  • Over 3 years of experience in developing test cases for complex software applications
  • Practical experience in testing web services, including both frontend and backend components
  • Familiarity with configuration management systems, particularly Ansible
  • Foundational knowledge of virtualization technologies
  • Basic proficiency in SQL
  • Solid understanding of software quality assurance principles, methodologies, and techniques
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of fundamental concepts in computer architecture, data structures, and information security
  • Proficient in working with both Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Well-developed investigative and troubleshooting abilities
  • Proven experience and strong proficiency with artificial intelligence tools
  • Familiarity with basic programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) (Preferred)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines; knowledge of Jenkins is a plus (Preferred)
  • Basic understanding of containerization technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker (Preferred)
