About the role

  • Provide excellent customer service to policyholders and prospects by answering inquiries
  • Resolve issues and offer solutions
  • Process changes to the policy as requested by the insured according to agency procedure
  • Issue certificates of insurance as requested by insured and/or broker
  • Create billing activities for accounting, reviewing account and collecting payment
  • Monitor pending cancellations according to agency procedure
  • Keep all information in agency management system accurate
  • Utilize suspense system for pending items
  • Provide back up for other agency service staff as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferably 3 years of experience in customer service, in the insurance industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Florida Property & Casualty License preferred
  • Willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire required
