About the role
- Provide excellent customer service to policyholders and prospects by answering inquiries
- Resolve issues and offer solutions
- Process changes to the policy as requested by the insured according to agency procedure
- Issue certificates of insurance as requested by insured and/or broker
- Create billing activities for accounting, reviewing account and collecting payment
- Monitor pending cancellations according to agency procedure
- Keep all information in agency management system accurate
- Utilize suspense system for pending items
- Provide back up for other agency service staff as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferably 3 years of experience in customer service, in the insurance industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Florida Property & Casualty License preferred
- Willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire required
