About the role
- Assists clients with coverage changes in an automated environment supported by an imaging system
- Informs and educates clients about policy coverages, changes, exclusions, and insurance coverage needs
- Provides technical support to producer(s) to benefit clients
- Prepares proposals in coordination with producer(s)
- Submits applications to eligible and appropriate carriers
- Manages clients’ needs by producing binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and related items
- Prepares summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals as needed for account reviews
- Remarkets renewals, contacts clients, creates renewal proposals, and handles other renewal activities
- Reviews policy audits, verifies accuracy, and facilitates corrections between the client and carrier as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager supporting clientele within Florida
- Full knowledge of insurance products, markets, and usage
- Adequate knowledge of rating procedures, coverage, and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain, and underwrite assigned client and prospect lists
- Active P&C 2-20 license required
- Applied Epic proficiency preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CIC or CRIS designations preferred
