About the role
- Manages the overall team operations, client coordination, and customer service delivery
- Coordinates, coaches, and prioritizes tasks with Account Associates
- Leverages knowledge and expertise in client services to develop and assist team members
- Assists Producers and Account Executives with client service commitments
- Ensures service standards are met, trends are identified, and improvements are implemented
- Functions as day-to-day customer contact, helping clients make informed decisions
- Manages new business and renewal processes and oversees client changes
- Accountable for client service delivery through high client retention, account rounding, referrals, and renewals
- Ensures pre-renewal information is sent out and follows up for timely responses
- Manages renewal marketing plans and executes them with the team
- Creates accurate proposals for Producers and Service Teams
- Reviews quotes for accuracy and negotiates coverage/price with underwriters
- Completes the renewal bind processes accurately and ensures documentation
Requirements
- Current Insurance License in Health & Life for the state in which your agency office is located
- Ability to work toward professional designation
- Must be comfortable in an electronic environment with strong computer skills
- Strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent people skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma (college preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or related field OR equivalent relevant experience
- A minimum of 3 years' experience within the insurance industry or business-related experience
