Provide leadership to District Sales Managers and sales representatives in meeting or exceeding client goals
Develop strategic territory coverage plans and manage sales activity standards and reporting procedures
Ensure product distribution of all authorized manufacturer products
Serve as a key strategic leader in coordination with the client Regional Director for the East
Coordinate and develop the Retail Sales and Merchandising Organization for the market/team
Lead, manage, and coach Retail Sales Managers and Unit Managers to achieve company and client sales and merchandising objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
5 years of consumer-packaged goods experience, including essential account management
Sales, Marketing, Merchandising and Administration experience required
Good office management and time management skills
Ability to exercise influence over people
Ability to prioritize multiple demands simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, including ability to conduct presentations
Proven analytical ability with strong attention to detail
Assertive, decisive, creative, team player with a proven sense of urgency
Negotiation skills and ability to delegate
Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Valid driver's license
Strong leadership, training, and coaching skills
Ability to develop and implement sales strategy, goals, and objectives
Ability to analyze team member performance data
Ability to effectively present information to principals, managers, employee teams, and customers
