About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify venues and assist in multi-market site selection and negotiation
- Manage vendors to ensure flawless execution and optimum return on cost
- Handle administrative oversight
- Provide weekly status updates on program results and personnel, plus client program reporting and reviews
- Coordinate event logistics, including properties, staff, and routing
- Support event budgets and vendor invoices
- Identify field issues and develop solutions through crisis management
- Activate fully integrated marketing campaigns through event marketing, PR stunts, regional and national events, advocacy events/parties, viral campaigns, and digital executions
- Coordinate event planning, implementation, and vendor management
- Work closely with Field Managers and vendors to exceed expectations
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma/GED required
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
- 1 year of event planning experience
- Professionally polished and interested in client-facing opportunities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Solid understanding of social media tools and digital platforms
- Strong computer application skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a digital work environment
- Availability for flexible work hours, including evenings and/or weekends at times
- Ability to perform seeing and listening requirements
