About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the sales team and build strong partnerships with clients
- Conduct high-quality analysis and synthesize multi-source data
- Evaluate item performance, assortment planning, and store clustering through the modular process
- Provide analytical analysis, insights, and recommendations for category management projects and initiatives
- Use retailer POS and NielsenIQ/Circana (IRI) data sources and reporting tools
- Develop category presentations incorporating syndicated and other data to address business issues
- Collaborate with CPG Category Management and Space Technology teams to deliver quality results
- Monitor client KPIs, strategies, innovation, and other important information
- Leverage client relationships to understand retailer deliverables, category strategies, and project timelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree, or related work experience may be substituted
- 2+ years of related experience
- Advanced proficiency in Windows and related software applications
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, VB, and advanced macros
- Experience with syndicated data and/or space management tools
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate relevant information
- Ability to identify and leverage relevant data to diagnose situations and identify potential solutions
- Ability to independently conduct data mining using CPG math concepts and tools
- Category Analyst/Manager Certification is a plus
