Complete in-store food and non-food demonstrations; serve, demonstrate, intercept consumers and sell products professionally.
Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies; ensure they are clean and secured in agreed backroom area.
When Supervisor is absent, communicate with store management and act as point of contact for events; assist other Event Specialists with kits and materials.
Assist Supervisor by providing leadership and knowledge to the team; build and maintain rapport with store personnel.
Prepare and serve food samples following food safety guidelines; use small appliances and cooking utensils safely.
Properly set up and prepare Event Table for execution; take digital photos of Perfect Table Setup and submit on-line requirements same day as event.
Complete expense reports per Company Policy and assist with preparation for client visits and audit corrections.
Maintain professional appearance consistent with job and retailer dress code.
Role expected not to exceed more than 25 hours per week (company may change based on business/client needs).
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to three months’ related experience and/or training (minimum 1 month).
Proficient ability to use and navigate on a personal computer and personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
Food Safety Professional Certification required; Local Food handlers permit if required.
Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb (including 6’ ladder), balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push/pull demonstration cart.
Ability to prepare foods including raw meats, produce and eggs; use cooking utensils and small appliances such as knives, convection ovens, coffee makers, electric fryers, microwaves.
Ability to maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
