Serve as a category expert on assigned clients to drive sales at customers and support the Kroger team
Provide merchandising solutions and decision support that drive business growth
Conduct high-quality analysis and synthesis of multi-source data to evaluate item performance, assortment planning, and store clustering through the modular process
Provide analytical analysis, insights, and recommendations for category management projects utilizing retailer POS and NielsenIQ/Circana (IRI) data sources and reporting tools
Build, update, and refresh weekly and monthly dashboards (weekly POS + monthly category recaps)
Participate in the development of category presentations incorporating syndicated data and other sources that address business issues
Work closely with CPG Category Management and Space Technology teams to ensure quality results are delivered
Keep abreast of client KPIs, strategies, innovation, and other important information; leverage client relationships to understand deliverables and project timelines
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (related work experience may be substituted for the educational requirement)
Category Management Certification preferred
1 – 3 years related experience
Demonstrate an advanced degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, VB, advanced macro’s
Experience with syndicated data and/or space management tools
System tools required: 84.51 data platforms (OnDemand and Stratum), Circana, NielsenIQ
Clearly and concisely communicate relevant information
Identify and leverage relevant data to diagnose situations and identify potential solutions
Effectively and independently conduct data mining utilizing CPG math concepts and tools
