Lead, mentor and develop a team of benefits professionals, setting clear goals and providing regular feedback
Lead day-to-day administration ensuring that assigned benefits are delivered as designed and plan issues are resolved on a timely basis
Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex benefits issues
Oversee annual open enrollment processes, including system setup, communications and vendor coordination
Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit enrollments, changes and terminations
Serve as primary liaison with benefit vendors such as BenefitFocus to monitor performance and partnership
Monitor service levels and escalating issues as needed
Manage benefits platforms and ensure system accuracy and integration with payroll
Identify opportunities to streamline benefit processes and enhance the Associate Experience
Keep abreast of changing regulations relating to assigned benefit plans
Manage workload distribution amongst the team and ensure timely execution of deliverables
Collaborate across the HR team to achieve successful implementation of business strategies and identification and implementation of business process improvement
Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (CEBS Certified preferred)
Minimum five (5) years in benefit administration or HR Operations
Thorough ERISA knowledge of qualified and non-qualified benefit plans
Knowledge of pension administration
Subject matter expert in a variety of benefit plan/programs/legal regulations
Excellent communication skills (Written, Oral, Presentation)
Good organizational/follow-up skills
Excellent PC skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proven leader with ability to motivate staff to excellence
May require moderate physical effort including lifting materials and equipment weighing less than 15 pounds
Position involves viewing a computer monitor for more than 30% of the time
