About the role

  • #Hybrid position - Open to candidates in Eastern or Central time zones, working in the office 3 days per week
  • Drive Category Management and business insights for Harris Teeter while leading a small team
  • Develop selling strategies, provide analytical support, and assess impact of category decisions
  • Analyze data to develop insights-based projects with recommendations focused on strategies and objectives
  • Use technical software: Circana, Nielsen, 84.51, Numerator, Market6 & Stratum
  • Participate in the category review process and work cross-functionally to provide category management solutions
  • Develop and maintain client-specific reporting to measure performance against strategies and objectives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to assigned clients and business managers through regular meetings
  • Build sales presentations using syndicated, panel, basket, shopper, and other sources of data
  • Manage a team of Category Management Analysts; maintain client connectivity and follow-up; submit success stories and attend sales calls

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • Category Management Certification (preferred)
  • Related work experience can be substituted for the educational requirement
  • 3-5 years related work experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Windows and related software (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Power BI (strong asset)
  • Experience with syndicated data and/or space management tools
  • Experience using Circana, Nielsen, 84.51, Numerator, Market6 & Stratum
  • Ability to conduct data mining utilizing CPG math concepts and tools
  • Communicates clearly and effectively; adapts to the audience
  • Independently manage project plans, tracking, communication, and timing
  • Problem recognition and ability to identify diagnostic information
  • Drive to meet expectations of internal and external stakeholders
  • Execute strategic objectives and keep priorities on track
