Finance Manager
Acorn StrategyFinance Manager overseeing finance function for UAE entity and group-level financial consolidation. Managing tax compliance, payroll, and financial reporting in multinational environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Fully own the month-end close process for each entity ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage group-level consolidated reporting, ensuring intercompany alignment.
- Lead group-level cash flow forecasting and scenario analysis.
- Own the budget-vs-actual analysis, providing insights and variance commentary.
- Support leadership with financial modelling, project costing insights, and ad-hoc analysis.
- Maintain accurate and compliant bookkeeping for the UAE entity.
- Oversee intercompany transfers and reconciliation across the group.
- Ensure all financial controls are effective, documented, and continuously improved.
- Manage Indonesia, UAE & KSA tax compliance including VAT, ESR, statutory audits, and renewal of company licenses.
- Lead all UAE/DMCC/ADGM audit processes, acting as key contact for auditors.
- Oversee Indonesia’s tax filing and audit processes.
- Lead group-level tax and compliance governance.
- Own UAE payroll end-to-end and oversee Indonesia payroll.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA) preferred.
- 5–10+ years of relevant finance experience, ideally in a multi-entity environment.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS preferred).
- Experienced in bookkeeping, consolidated reporting, and cross-border compliance.
- Familiarity with UAE tax and regulatory frameworks is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- High integrity, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently across time zones.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
