About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You plan, implement and maintain the IT infrastructure for aconnic and NewTal, ensuring system availability and performance
  • You manage Microsoft and Linux servers as well as virtualization environments using VMware, Hyper-V and Proxmox, ensuring a stable and high-performing IT landscape
  • You maintain our network infrastructure with Fortinet firewalls and HPE switches, configure routing and VLANs, and optimize security and performance
  • You administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and other domain services and ensure their seamless integration
  • You plan and apply updates and patches to ensure the stability, security and currency of our IT systems
  • You design and administer our Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra, Intune, SharePoint, Teams and Exchange Online
  • You manage Microsoft Terminal Servers, Remote Desktop services and our backup infrastructure based on Veeam Backup & Replication
  • You support users at 1st- and 2nd-level, resolve complex IT issues and coordinate server and network projects together with internal and external partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information or Communication Technology, a comparable IT qualification (e.g., Fachinformatiker for System Integration) or several years of experience administering IT environments in a corporate setting
  • Experience in system integration and operating modern IT infrastructures
  • Confident handling of Microsoft client and server operating systems, Linux and Apple macOS
  • Experience with VMware (ESXi, vCenter), Veeam Backup & Replication and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Fluent German and good English skills
  • Strong team player with a sense of responsibility and a reliable working style
  • Willingness to learn, a desire for continuous development and an active hands-on mentality
  • Able to work independently and maintain oversight even in complex IT environments
