Key responsibilities & impact

Managing inquiries, price and delivery negotiations
Placing orders and conducting quote comparisons
Responsible for supplier selection, handling and evaluation
Conducting annual negotiations with suppliers
Continuous optimization through performance monitoring
Ensuring long-term and fair collaboration
Ongoing market monitoring for new products and price developments
Developing proposals for stocking strategies, substitution, and clearance (sell-off)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 3 years of verifiable purchasing experience, preferably in a senior role
Completed vocational training or degree in business administration or a comparable field
Affinity for technical processes and products
Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
Experience with ERP systems and strong MS Office skills
Strong team skills and the ability to collaborate across different hierarchical levels
Flexibility and willingness to travel for business, with an expected travel rate of about 10%
